Day Camp Days The World on a String July 14th @ 1:00 pm Call 513-241-6550 The historic Showboat Majestic, located at 435 East Mehring Way, will host Frisch Marionettes as our Day Camp Days production. The World on a String runs Monday, July 14th thru Friday, July 18th, 2008. Adults and children alike can enjoy these delightful performances for the low, low ticket price of just $3.00. Kevin Frisch moved from Cincinnati to New York City and joined Nicolas Coppola’s The Puppetworks, Inc., of Brooklyn, NY in 1986. Working with many puppeteers, Kevin developed his own art, craft and skills as a puppeteer and artist. Kevin spent the next nine years touring the New York Metropolitan area as well as performing in The Puppetworks’ permanent theatres in Brooklyn and Macy’s Herald Square. In 1995, he returned home to establish The Frisch Marionettes as an exceptional entertainment and educational experience for children and adults alike, proclaiming the many virtues of this unusual art form. Frisch Marionettes have built puppets, masks and costumes for The Central Park Zoo, New York Aquarium and The Puppetworks Inc. They’ve been seen in People Magazine, SHOWTIME’S “Twisted Puppet Theater”, the PBS Documentary “The American Puppet,” and onstage with The Cincinnati Opera as well as in the New York store windows of Saks 5th Avenue., Bloomingdales’ and Hermes New York.
